Creators of the praised Cube Escape series and the premium point-and-click adventures Rusty Lake Hotel and award-winning Rusty Lake: Roots.

Dear visitor,

Welcome to Rusty Lake, a surreal place where anything can happen. We offer you the most mysterious game series you'll ever play.

Why not try out our praised Cube Escape series first? Let the cubes guide you the eerie and atmospheric point-and-click adventures with an "escape room" feeling. Currently we have ten Cube Escape games taking place in the Rusty Lake universe. Cube Escape: Paradox is our latest installment which is combined with a short film! Download them for ten on iOS, Android or play on Desktop.

Next to our Cube Escape series we created three premium adventure games with unique story lines taking place in Rusty Lake as well. Serve deadly dinners to five animal-headed guests in Rusty Lake Hotel, expand the bloodline of the Vanderbooms in our award-winning adventure Rusty Lake: Roots or stop the ten plagues on a small island in Rusty Lake Paradise.

On the right, you can find a list of all our games sorted by release date.

On our game portal you can play our free games but also find other adventure, room escape and puzzle games. We selected games with a fascinating story, ambiance or unique game-play made by more forward-looking developers.

Check out our blog, social media or newsletter for new updates and content.

We wish you a pleasant stay in Rusty Lake!

Thanks guys, it was a great launch!

Thanks guys, it was a great launch!

mr-owl-speech

We’re bit overwhelmed by all the positive feedback, comments and ratings/reviews today. Each Cube Escape launch is getting more exciting for us. Normally it took a week to reach 100 ratings on Android now we already got 250 and counting, wow. Thanks for all the support! For everyone who already finished: well done. This installment might feel slightly shorter than usual for the day one fans, but we’ve a surprise for you in store next week… Then we will also launch the web versions on the other websites. Stay tuned!

Ps. don’t you remember Bob from another Cube?

AND I REMEMBER BOB. HE WAS THE PRISONER GUY FROM CASE 21. When I saw him sitting the same way over the toilet i almost screamed “it’s you!”

  7. Adam D says:

Did Bob and the young woman broke up?
Also congratulations and it’s getting closer to your anniversary/birthday, uhmm founding anniversary? Is there gonna be something special on April 25th?

  8. crinohomura says:

    WOW,that’s quite impressive.
And I think the story of RustyLake is linked to Samara Room finally, a story about reincarnation probably.
And I recommend to recheck the translation.I know that’s a hard work for those fans who did those because of expressions with double means and of course, crews of RustyLake who made visions in different languages possible. But there are some mistakes and errors.
Of course, this is the first time you try to make a muti-language game. These mistakes are acceptable.
    And always,RustyLake never fails me.

  9. crinohomura says:

Oh,who has got the secret hided in the piano?I think there must be something with it.

    • Mars says:

I noticed when I pressed the c key while playing the “dead face” tune, the c on face shimmered. I wonder what that means o.O

  10. crinohomura says:

    Amm…
I may got a thought that all corrupted soul(except those two in Arles and Mill) is act by Mr. Bob.

  11. ecom says:

Davvero molto intrigante, ricette segrete comprese :))
Personalmente colgo riferimenti al Twin Peaks di Lynch, ma non so se si tratti di suggestione: Dale, Bob, il pavimento a cubi bianchi e neri, le tende, l’uccello amante della musica, the owls are not what they seem…
    Bravi!

      vero! anche io.
Se in più pensi alla scena del teatro in Mulholland Dr. dove Rebekah Del Rio ha i capelli blu… 🙂

      Bob 😀

  12. MonkMonk says:

Can’t wait for the coaster secret prize to be activated!

  13. Danial says:

Well, I remember Bob on another cube. he was the criminal at the case 23, and I think he killed the woman at the season beacause he was broke up with her.. Maybe..

  14. JessicaMarlowe says:

MonkMonk said they “can’t wait for thr coaster secret prize”
Does this have to do with the secret code we got for getting all Stars and all ingredients on Rusty Lake Hotel?
If not, does anone know what the secret code is for?
    Thanks in advance

  15. Julez says:

@jessicamarlowe you can use it in CE:Birthday – you will know when to use it and it will explain some of the happenings.

    Best wishes from Germany 🙂

  16. MonkMonk says:

Random question: How come Birthday and Theater don’t have the icon of the man rowing the boat on their links on the main page?

  17. Harvey says:

@all thanks for the awesome comments!
@Adam, we hope we have time to make it a special day for you guys as well!
    @MonkMonk, thanks I just updated it 🙂

  18. Tethernova says:

Possible SPOILER. The wheel of life idea is really starting to make sense. From the wheel on the wall, we know that humans transform into *something,* then into an animal, then to a corrupted soul, to a plant, to a fish, and back to human. We’ve seen the animal-people in Rusty Lake Hotel turn into corrupted souls. When we killed the rabbit in Birthday, he turned into a plant. This is all making (a little) sense!

  19. Julez says:

    @tethernova:
    I really like your idea!
Another thought: in the secret scene in birthday harvey was overrun by the corrupted souls. After that the ‘transformation sound’ came which comes whenever someone changes his form…and then harvey became a parrot instead of a human-animal-mixture…
So maybe the *something* between human and animal is the mixture? ^^
But still…how about the fish? ^^

  20. Shamila says:

dead fat guy inside the watch!!!!
mi inglés no me permite decir más. Pero recuerdo que debí ser un gusanito en un juego anterior para meterme dentro del oido de ese gordo…
Este juego es el primero que logro resolver sin ayuda de nadie en un solo dia

  21. Henning says:

I really like your games. I was surprised to find out that the cocktail Harvey Wallbanger was not fictional. Today, I bought a bottle of Galliano. Strong stuff.
