Impression of the showcasing events

As you may have seen on our social media, we had a blast on the two gaming events were we showcased our games. First of all, we had an incredible time during the INDIGO festival. Many people joined us to play the game and some of them couldn’t stop playing till they had finished Cube Escape: Seasons. Here is an impression:

In Tivoli Vredenbrug, Utrecht we had our own arcade booth.

Last weekend we had our own indie booth at the Firstlook Festvial, the biggest gaming event in The Benelux with over 20.000 visitors. Standing next to famous indie devs like Abbey Games (known for Reus) we were really suprised having so many people in our booth during the day (some of them stayed more than an hour!:)). We made our booth in style of Cube Escape and people seemed to enjoy the homey atmosphere:

You can see the retro wall, the famous telephone and some candlesticks. We should have brought more devices…

The comments on the Cube Escape series were truly amazing. We hadn’t see that many people playing the game in real life. So it was fun to see how people react on the weird things that happen in Rusty Lake…
“Wow that moon was like Kill Bill” or “A big smile after a three grew out of a fish”.

I think we have made some instant fans..:D and after a play session we gave them our flyer.

The chance of meeting fans who already knew Rusty Lake was new and great experience for us.

Bas Bakkum and his crew won the tickets for Firstlook.

The events gave us insight how other people play and that will be usefull for our new project.

Next stop will be Casual Connect in Tel Aviv, Isreal. Can’t wait to meet some more fans…
